It all begins with an idea.

Through collaborative initiatives, engaging programs, and innovative research, we strive to break down barriers and create inclusive spaces that celebrate diverse voices and perspectives. Our multidisciplinary approach brings together artists, public health professionals, community leaders, and individuals passionate about the arts & health, enabling us to create impactful solutions that are rooted in both creativity and evidence-based practices. 

At the Center for Creativity & Public Health, we are committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation. We actively seek partnerships with organizations, institutions, and individuals who share our vision and want to make a positive impact to those they serve through the intersection of the arts and public health.

Our Process

  • Begins with a free initial consultation with our creative advisors.

  • Our creative advisors will develop a proposal for moving forward, customized for your specific project. 

  • Thanks to our extensive network and experience, we can facilitate projects with internal as well as external resources. 

  • We are with you each step of the way as needed for success, including project management, fundraising, evaluation, reporting, coaching, and monitoring.

FAQs

  • We did not want to be in the business of constantly seeking funding. In order to reach the largest number of stakeholders, we felt it is important to “speak the language of business” in addition to upholding our values with a focus on community health outcomes.

  • The Center focuses on addressing public health issues by integrating the creative sector’s gifts and crafting solutions collaboratively. Our intent is to partner with existing creative sector organizations where proven approaches already exist when appropriate.

  • We do not know of any other organizations whose missions are as singularly focused as ours on this intersection of the public health and creative sectors. We hope to hear from those who are similar.

    The Center’s purpose is to help individuals and communities thrive with thorough integration of the arts and humanities into all manners of public health interventions, not as enhancement or enrichment but as an essential element of well-being.

  • The terms B Corp and B Corporation generally refer to certification conferred by B Lab, a global non-profit organization. Certified companies may be Public Benefit Corporations, but most Public Benefit Corporations do not have B Corp certification. The B Corp certification indicates a company has met certain standards for social and environmental performance under the B Lab certification process.

  • Our initial focus is in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. We may expand in the future.
